Our vision is to be the leading auction house for influencer marketing campaigns. Our patent-pending, programmatic platform streamlines the process of partnering with influencers that are both available and suitable for brand sponsorships.

A standout feature of our pioneering platform is the opportunity it presents for historically marginalized communities. By standardizing rate transparency in the influencer industry, we aim to broaden opportunities for underrepresented creators.

Our Mission

Our mission is to close the equity gap in terms of both pay and opportunity that continues to persist for diverse influencers; especially creators of color. According to the 2023 pay equity data published by MSL, BIPOC influencers in particular are two times less likely to win brand deals and those that win deals are 49% more likely to be paid below market rates.

Our platform levels the playing field by providing creators of all backgrounds with equal access to opportunity and pay transparency, while enabling brands and agencies to more easily and efficiently broker paid partnerships with both untapped and managed talent at scale.

Our Story

Iconically is a Black-owned company with an internal mandate that our team composition be 50% or more female. The idea for Iconically was borne out of the tragic murder of George Floyd in 2020 and the founders desire to help other entrepreneurs that lacked access make a meaningful impact on the world.

Today, there is no faster growing segment of entrepreneurship than content creators; with one-third of Gen Z (representing the hugely diverse #globalmajority) aspiring to become influencers. Hence the reason we seek to provide pathways through our platform that align with the explosive growth of this industry.

Our Founders

Donald Doane, a graduate of Cornell University and serial entrepreneur, co-founded Iconically in 2022 and serves as the Company's CEO. Mr. Doane was one of the first Black founders to successfully raise $1M+ in venture capital and was ranked #1 of 10 best TED talks for sales. He has a passion for education and equity, and spearheaded the Black Learners Matter initiative in 2020 to help emerging brands better reach and engage Black and brown students, parents and teachers.

Grant M. Warner, Ph.D. is the co-founder and Director of Partnerships at Iconically. Grant also was a co-founder of Black Learners Matter, a platform to connect Black founders with icons in EdTech, which in many ways was the progenitor for Iconically. As an ardent Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion advocate he has also managed and developed programs for the National GEM Consortium and the Small Business Administration aimed at increasing access to federal funding. He received a B.S. degree from Cornell University, an M.S. degree from Penn State University, and a Ph.D. from Columbia University.
